These magnificent gardens are set in the Hunter Valley wine regions' historic district of Pokolbin, amongst the foothills of the Brokenback Ranges, NSW. Over the years it has become one of Australia's best tourist attractions.

The Hunter Valley Gardens were acquired by the Roche Group in 1998, and also include other attractions and award-winning facilities such as: Roche Wines, Hunter Valley Gardens Village, BBQ and picnic grounds, children's playground and a beautiful Chapel for private services, weddings or christenings.

But the major attractions are of course the gardens themselves...Developed by Bill Roche, the gardens are clearly the vision and labour of love, and the entire property has now grown to over 300 hectares.

Visitors from all over the globe come to view the spectacular international display gardens, filled with amazing structures and vista's, colours, fragrances and adventures all of a horticultural standard you won't see elsewhere in Australia.

They have been set-up as gardens within gardens - a series of garden rooms, each very individual, reflecting international styles, but often with an Australian twist. There are over 8 kilometres of walking paths to enjoy, connecting all these garden area's.
